Ministry of Foreign Affairs notes ‘Russophobic line’ of Romanian authorities

The head of the fourth CIS Department of the Russian foreign Ministry Alexander Botan-Kharchenko commented on the appearance on Romania’s territory of elements of U.S. missile defense.

“Taking into consideration the position of the leadership of Romania, which turned the country into an Outpost, for us it is a clear threat. The Romanian side stated that publicly,” Alexander Botan-Kharchenko reported.

Moreover, at the end of his statement Botan-Kharchenko noted “anti-Russian and even Russophobic” line of representatives of the Romanian authorities in recent years.
