We will not be able to understand the full depth of the current confrontation without philosophical reflection. Philosophers have always interpreted war as something necessary. Heraclitus speaks of war as the "father of things": πόλεμος πάντων μεν πατήρ εστί, πάντων δε βασιλεύς. War has always constituted the world and space. Without war, without division, the world is impossible.
The great fear of human beings is death, a passage of state that has troubled all ages without provoking the terror of our times. The fear of nothingness, of eternal darkness, of the loss of affections and known things is characteristic of the time of dissolution, where death is experienced as the end of everything.
One of the major events that has happened to mankind in the last 30 years is the direct encounter with a qualitatively new phenomenon called the ‘law of risk conservation’.
