Trump’ team: first appointments

Several officials are aware of being nominated to key positions in the future administration of the White House.

Michael Pompeo, the U.S. Representative for Kansas's 4th congressional district is expected to become the head of the CIA. He is well-known for his ultra-conservative views. It was him, who called for the death penalty for Snowden and declared indirectly caused by the Muslim clerics of terrorism. However, this could not be taken for sure, because both his candidacy and as well as Jefferson Sessions have to be approved by Congress, and only then by the president.

At this moment, Jefferson Sessions, as the possible future Minister of Justice, is currently a U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Alabama and one of the fifth-most conservative U.S. Senator.

Michael Flynn, the former director of the Defense Intelligence Agency is expected to become a United States National Security Advisor. He was fired by Obama for his views on radical Islam. He could also take the post of defense minister or secretary of state, but his appointment to these positions would have difficulty relating to his dismissal. But the post of Security Advisor is not required any approval in Congress.

American people remember Michael Flynn for his support of Vladimir Putin. Moreover, he repeatedly called for cooperation with Russia in the fight against ISIS in Syria.

However before the official inauguration, the composition of the team may change.
