Taliban insurgents attack checkpoint in Afghanistan

In western Afghanistan Taliban insurgents have attacked today a checkpoint. At least three policemen were killed, and four others were injured during this attack.

Police chief of Farah province has reported that the attackers escaped with some weapons and ammunition taken from that checkpoint. Moreover, another police official said about 11 policemen killed in the attack.
