Syria: USA tries to prevent ISIS defeat

Against the background of the beginning of the large-scale Russian operation in Syria, the US Congress has approved new sanctions against the government of Bashar al-Assad and also «regimes responsible for providing economic and financial support to the Syrian government and the Central Bank of Syria».

Certainly, this statement points out mostly Russia and Iran, than even Syria itself.

However, it doesn’t contribute to the cessation of operations and the Russian-Syrian cooperation. All facts indicate that the end of ISIS is already very close and will stop at this stage.
