Abu Omar al-Shishani was killed yesterday, not far from Iraqi Mosul.

 

 

His terrorist accomplices confirmed his death

Earlier, the US military announced that Shishani was killed in March during an air raid in Syria. However, in this case representatives of the "Islamic state" confirmed the death of the leader. Photos of the dead terrorist were posted on social networks.

Al-Shishani (real name - Tarhan Batiashvili) is Georgian. He had the status of military adviser of the head of ISIS Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Batiashvili previously fought in Chechnya against Russian troops, and then took refuge in Georgia. In 2012, he traveled from Georgia to Turkey, and then moved to Syria.
