Iran and Russia discuss a $10-billion deal

Iran is going to buy Russian weapons of various kinds, among which there are T-90 battle tanks, artillery systems, aircraft and helicopters. In total the sum is $ 10 billion. During the visit of the Russian parliamentary delegation to Iran some details will be discussed.

Viktor Ozerov, a chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Defense and Security informed about this new agreement.

He also stressed that the transaction would correspond to the international standards and would not go beyond the operations, permitted under the conditions of nuclear safety.
