One of the largest anti-government protest marches in decades has been held in Seoul. One million people turned out to call for the resignation of South Korean President Park Geun-Hye.

The protest was organized by trade unions and social organizations. Moreover, three opposition parties including their members (potential candidates for the presidency, such as Seoul Mayor Park Won, leader of the Democratic Party) joined 1500 trade unions.

According to the latest data, protesters have begun to clash with police and internal troops of special purpose.
