Now is the time to take full advantage of the temporary shuffle-up. In this situation, we are not just given a breathing space — we need to breathe, to inhale... and exhale. As Dugin taught us after his year of silence so long (so recently) ago, civilizations and continents contract and expand like the heart. Now is the time to grow up from memetic discourse to raise, expound, and cultivate our philosophizing, our poeticizing, our spiritual practices, our art, our ability to move between spheres. Now is the time to decipher and fulfill the myth we are living, to give the due to the Divine and to each other, and to take what was always our lot from long before the post-modern political spectacle’s twists and turns. This is the one and only real end of the “art of the deal” that is ours. As the author of Esoteric Trumpism wrote in my copy: “The West is dead, long live Caesar!” We can translate this to say: “Let there be an attempt at having an Emperor, very well, even doomed and all; at any rate, we can and must relearn the deep mysteries of empires and continental shifts” — mind you, continents of ideas, continents of civilizations, continents of souls, continents of Gods and Goddesses, continents of ourselves and ours. Now is the time to be Continental-Conscious.
The last sentence of Evola’s Revolt Against the Modern World remains in power — and now, more so than before, those who toss around such a name and title must be confronted with the question of whether they truly know such not as a "phrase”, but as action, as being, as will. Our position, as before, remains the following: now is the opportunity for salvation and liberation, and that means putting your soul to Great Work, not prioritizing the exterior news, even when it is favorable. We still live in the Great Illusion. We, my friends, are the men and women of the Kali-Yuga. We are at war and at peace.
The most “in-the-know” among my friends would say that even those who proactively participated in the "realization" (a key, multi-leveled word of ours) of more or less recent (geo-)political affairs haven’t even left the Forest. They are still committed to what Jünger called the Forest Passage, of which we have written much here.
Profane (geo-)political developments are indeed sometimes permeated by and mirror real sacred unfoldings and esoteric events. In this respect, in our situation, a much-needed and healthy purge is inevitably coming. I can feel it. No amount of “content” or “news” can compensate for your soul. No presidential appointments can save you from missing your chance. No elections can change fate.
For a “miraculous” split second in one shift of the kaleidoscope, for a brief imaginary moment along the way, for a semi-comforting respite against the backdrop of profound causes, some will make careers, some will “retire” into oblivion. Others, who can still read the meanings of and between words, will know or recall for the first time in too long a facticity which we still need to learn to phrase in the right words of the new beginning. Something along the lines of: True greatness is never a face recognized by masses, but a mask whose interpretation can serve as a finger pointing to the liberation and salvation of the few who look on while making sacrifices on the horizon for what is to come.
A “new generation” is not a chronology of people, but a re-generating, re-manifesting of forces, questions, responses, and men and women who know what is at stake in their blood. Especially when they see blood on the world stage.
