Appeal to a President

12.09.2024

The Russian intervention in Ukraine was the result of a trap set by the West to force the Kremlin into choices that in Western plans should have led to Russia's defeat and ultimate submission. But reality often differs from our expectations and Russia has instead shown uncommon and heroic resistance. At the start of the Special Military Operation, the big boys of the West (sic) and their pimps rubbed their hands in anticipation of a victory that was already improbable at the time and now seems increasingly unlikely. Others, on the other hand, have stood up and continue to do so, loudly denouncing the dangers of the crisis before our eyes and the existential threat that has pushed Russia into action.

A glimpse into the near future

22.05.2024

In just a few months, the future of years of the so-called “collective West” and thus, inevitably, of the entire world will be decided. Mr President, when delivering your Address [to the Federal Assembly], you were figuratively pulling trillion by trillion out of your sleeve. That will be a different Russia, with a completely new infrastructure and social system – nothing short of a dreamland.

Dominique Venner, historical thinker: Interview with Clotilde Venner

12.01.2024

Dominique became interested in history for several reasons. As I explain in my book (A la rencontre d'un cœur rebelle), Dominique had three lives, a first one in which he was a political activist, a second more meditative one that I call the recourse to the forests, and a third in which he became the historian that we know. The study of history, I think, took on its full importance when he gave up politics, at the end of his first life. He experienced his retirement from politics as a small death.
