Mass protests in Malaysia

Several thousand protesters demand Malaysian PM Najib Razak to be resigned. He is accused of some corruption scandals.

However, the corruption in the health system is the outer side of these protests. One of the opposition leaders is a 91 years old former Malaysian PM Mahathir Mohamad, voluntarily retired after 22 years of work.

Najib Razak is turning his policy to China, which makes the fact that "a strange coincidence" of these mass protests demanding the resignation of the government taking place in recent years in countries, which step up cooperation with Beijing, but moreover in China, even in Hong Kong.
