Duterte will clean Philippines from drugs in six months
Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte said that after six months the country will become completely free from drugs, which were the biggest problem in the region in the last decade.
"We need time to put everything in order. Give me a little more time, perhaps six months, "- he said.
Recall that after the President of the Philippines expressed the desire to kick out American bases from the territory of the country, various non-governmental organizations began to criticize his uncompromising attitude towards drug-related crimes. He is accused of violating the rights of criminals.
The Philippine government sees such criticism coming mainly from organizations funded by the US, as interference in the internal affairs of the country.
In addition it is known that a great influence on the distribution and drug traffic is played by the US military base, so the United States see a real threat of losing income after Duterte solves the drug problem.
