Duterte insults Obama once again
Before the start of the US-Philippine joint exercises that Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has called the last such exercise in history, the President allowed himself a sharp remark against the American counterpart.
"Instead of helping us, the first to hit was the State Department. So you can go to hell, Mr Obama, you can go to hell," he stated.
In addition, Duterte confirmed his intention to withdraw US military bases: "The Americans ... I do not like them think twice (before criticizing the war against drug offenders) - I can ask you to leave.".
The information that the joint drills are still to start has not yet been confirmed, by,none of the government and military departments of both countries.
Sources in Japan confirms the beginning of the exercise, adding that there are about 500 Philippine army soldiers and 1,400 US Marines involved.
