The Filipino-American naval war games have been finished one day earlier, that it was planned.

During the conference, devoted to summarizing the resume, the President of Philippines Rodrigo Duterte called into question the importance of these exercises. He declared that they are of benefit only for the United States.

However, the president has confirmed the desire to cooperate with China. But he said that the defense agreement with Washington will not be broken off for the present time.

In spite of obvious unfriendliness, the representatives of Pentagon, attending the event described traditionally evaluated these exercises as successful ones. In particular, Brig. Gen. John Janssen, 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade commander and this year’s US PHIBLEX director confirmed this information.
