Coptic Patriarch leaves Greece because of terrorist attack

Coptic Patriarch Pope Tavadros II, who was going to pay a visit to Greece and participating in the opening ceremony of the first Coptic church, has to come back immediately to Cairo because of the major terrorist attack at the Coptic church.

This attack is the largest one in recent years. As a result, 25 people were killed and more than 50 were wounded, most of them were women and children, who were attending the Sunday service.

The explosive device is informed to be powered remotely.

None of the existing terrorist groups has claimed responsibility for this incident. The similar attack was carried out several years ago, but those responsible for it have not yet been found.
