Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni said, that during the EU summit Italy blocked any decisions to extend sanctions on Russia, and the country didn’t support the introduction of new anti-Russian
The EU-Ukraine summit starts. The main topic of this meeting is the discussion of anti-corruption measures, which are necessary for adoption of the visa-free enter for Ukrainians in Europe.
During the summit, the EU has decided not to extend the anti-Russian sanctions.
EU leaders will meet on October 20th and 21st in Brussels to discuss issues related to the migration crisis and TTIP and CETA treaties. In addition, today they are expected to discuss relations with Russia.
