Viktor Milinkovich

Viktor Milinkovich is an experienced criminal justice practitioner based in the UK and has been employed professionally within the criminal justice sector of England and Wales for over a decade. His educational history consists of attendance at the Solihull College business school between the years 1994 to 1999, where he attained a Business and Technology Education Council First Level Diploma, National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in Business and Finance.

Mr Milinkovic went on to engage with the Midlands Environmental Association Network for a year between 2000 and 2001 as an economics and international trade analyst, where he produced a critical analysis of the annual DFID (Department for International Development) assistance and development strategy document, in addition to City Council expansion plans for Birmingham International Airport.

In 2001 he was recruited on to a training program for professional engagement within the criminal justice sector and gained a BA Honours in Community Justice at the University of Birmingham, in addition to an NVQ Level 4 in Community Justice City & Guilds award in 2003. Since that time Mr Milinkovic has been assigned to a diverse range of professional engagements including the law court and prisons, conducting pre-sentence investigation, evaluation and cross examination for the purposes of the Court sentencing process, as well as parole assessment evaluation for prison parole boards. Mr Milinkovic has worked closely with other criminal justice and partnership agencies, including the police, prison service, psychiatric services and social services. He has engaged in the monitoring and risk/dangerousness assessment of serious convicted offenders.

Mr Milinkovic is currently employed on a freelance basis, primarily in the preparation of Court report documents, and is working on a project investigating the confluence of organized crime, business, finance and political economy with the aim of producing a doctoral thesis. He has a particular interest in the application of the principles of criminal justice and criminological concepts to the political process, international relations and geostrategic political economy.
