Trump and Stoltenberg discuss ‘peaceful resolution’ in Ukraine

The White House reports that President Donald Trump has held phone talks with NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg and has agreed to attend a meeting of alliance leaders in May.

During their conversation on Sunday, there were discussed the potential for “a peaceful resolution of the conflict along the Ukrainian border”.

“The leaders discussed how to encourage all NATO allies to meet their defense-spending commitments,” as it was noted in a statement.
