Sergey Lavrov Urged John Kerry to Not Allow the Resumption of Hostilities in Donbass

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov discussed with US Secretary of State John Kerry cooperation between the two countries as co-chairs of the International Syrian Support Group (ISSG), including forthcoming contacts. This was confirmed in a statement on Tuesday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russia.

In connection with the visit of US Secretary of State to Ukraine, which is scheduled for the next few days, Lavrov drew attention to the emerging information on "intent to provoke a resumption of full-scale hostilities in Donbass", calling on Washington to "put in the effort to prevent such developments."
