There are being held mass protests in Argentina to mark the International Human Rights Day, which coincided this year with the first anniversary of Mauricio Macri’ presidency.

The protests are across the country, organized by human rights organizations, which require the fair investigation of the events that took place during the dictatorship in Argentina in 1976-1983. Moreover, students, social and trade unions are protesting against the increase in unemployment and the introduction of austerity measures.

According to the recently declassified documents, Washington took an active part in the events of the dictatorship. John Kerry also confirmed this information during his last visit to Argentina.
