Brazil: clashes with police

Wednesday, 7 December, 2016 - 12:15

The protests in Brazil against government plans to hold tough austerity measures have become real clashes with the police. In turn, the police used tear gas and rubber bullets to calm down people. But at least one representative of the law enforcement has suffered himself from his tear gas. More than eight people were injured during these clashes.

Most of the protesters are reported to be officials of state. They were going to organize the protest near the building of the National Assembly, where the consideration of the future budget has been already started.
