FBI raids a New York cafe with links to Gülen

FBI agents conducted search a popular cafe linked to Pennsylvania-based Imam Fethullah Gülen in New York's Brooklyn.

During the raid on the Masal Café (a destination for Gülen's disciples) many computers were seized. FBI also conducted a separate search against the cafe's owner, Salahattin Karakuş's house and confiscated his computers.

However, Bekir Bozdağ, Turkish  Minister of Justice  demanded the extradition of Gülen during his last visit to Washington. Most likely the White House with the help of operations against well-known Gülenists draws Ankara’s attention from Muhammed Fethullah Gülen. Besides, the White House is not going to extradite Gülen.

Meanwhile, these FBI special operations are held against the background of Clinton campaign’s accusations towards James Comey, the Director of the FBI.
