China to work with Russia ‘to further deepen and expand comprehensive strategic coordination’

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said at a regular news briefing that China has positively evaluated the words of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on the relations between two countries.

“China highly values and commends the high-level performance of the China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination. Strategic mutual trust between the two sides is increasing. We will work with Russia to further deepen and expand our comprehensive strategic coordination in various fields”, said Hua Chunying.

Moreover, she has commented on the statement of the Russian Foreign Minister that Russia, China and the US should increase their trilateral cooperation.

“China, Russia and the US are the leading global powers and they are the permanent members of the UN Security Council. We have great responsibility for global peace, stability and development,” Hua Chunying also added.
