US offensive on the Western Balkans
16.08.2017
On August 1, Vice President of the United States Mike Pence visited Montenegro, Pence is the highest US official to visit Montenegro in over a hundred years since the two countries established diplomatic relations. At the same time, it was the first visit to the region of top officials and first associate of US President Donald Tramp. The arrival of Pence in Podgorica was accompanied by unprecedented security measures. The streets of the capital of Montenegro, were decorated with Montenegrin and US flags, marking the route by which the US Vice President will pass.
Before Montenegro, Pence visited Estonia and Georgia. The fact that Pence did not visit Paris and Berlin clearly indicates that the aim of his small tour was to strengthen russophobia, as one of the weapons for realizing US interests. During the gala dinner in Podgorica Pence stated that “(Montenegrin) courage, particulary in the face of Russian pressure, inspires the world and I commend you for that”. But the main message that Pence brought in Montenegro is that the United States strongly supports the current policy of Montenegrin leadership.
On the second day of the visit Pence participated in Adriatic Charter Summit. A gathering that besides USA also brings Serbia, Kosovo (Serbia and Kosovo are observers), Croatia, Macedonia, Slovenia, Albania, Bosnia and Hercegovina. Officially the main objective of this program is to strenghten regional security, with the support of the US to the countries in the region, which are to meet the standards for admission to NATO. The meeting was officially titled “American – Adriatic Charter on Partnership”, but the real goal of the meeting is expressing obedience to the United States.
In his speech US Vice President Mike Pence accused Russia of trying to "divide the region" to "undermine integration processes" and "draw new borders by force.
" In the Western Balkans, Russia was trying to destabilize the region, undermining the democracy. Russia's intentions were clear when Moscow agents in Montenegro tried to disrupt the elections, attack the parliament and kill the prime minister and so deter the Montenegrin people from joining NATO" - said Pence. And if the trial did not even begin for the alleged coup, Pence has obviously already judged.
However, the true is that alleged coup is a classic prank of Montenegrin secret police, which has great experience in such actions. Already now, the opposition Democratic Front has evidence that refutes all allegations of alleged state coup. Pence further added that his visit is proof that the United States continues to be committed to the Balkans and that the strengthening of ties between the United States Army and the military in the Balkans will continue. Pence also said that the future of the Western Balkans is in the West. From what Pence said and how it said its obvious that he do not sugest or talk like with partners, but like with US vassals. What also is very immportant is that Pence has meet with opposition party leaders Aleksa Becic (Democrats), Ranko Krivokapic (SDP), Dritan Abazovic (URA), Miodrag Lekic (Demos) and the Vice President of the Socialist People’s Party Danijela Pavicevic. Pence advised them to end the boycott and return to Parliament. What was immediately noticed was that Pens did not meet with Milo Djukanovic and representatives of the Democratic Front, the strongest opposition alliance. The reason because Pence did not meet with leaders of Democratic Front is simple, Democratic Front is the only serious political subject in Montenegro that don’t go in US embassy for advices or to be precise, to recive orders.
The announcment that Brian Hoyt Yee could come for US Ambassador to Macedonia shows that Washington is preparing a serious offensive towards Western Balkans. The first US operative in the Balkans has a dark biography. Basically, his biography is a struggle against the vital national interests of Serbia and Russia in the Balkans. He closely monitored and cordoned some of the most important events in the Balkans. In 1993 he followed the preparation of the Dayton Agreement and in 1999, he sat at the office of Javier Solana. The real coordinator of the separation of Montenegro from Serbia in 2006 was Yee. In March he met in Pristina with Hashim Thaci, after which the proposal for forming the Kosovo army was removed from the agenda. In May, he visited Macedonia, after which Nikola Gruevski withdrew, and Macedonian president Djordje Ivanov offered his mandate to Zoran Zaev. In the same month he met with political leaders in Albania, after which they all agreed to go to the polls.
His task in Skopje will be to speed up Macedonia's NATO accession. As in Montenegro, people will not be asked.
There are two main reasons for Macedonia's accelerated entry into NATO. First is to preventing the connection of the Piraeus port which is purchased by the Chinese with Belgrade and Budapest and further to West Europe. The second reason is surrounding neutral Serbia. Without any doubt, Yee will have a full command of the US intelligence agencies in the Balkans. Yee will also actively work on the abolition of Republika Srpska and the "peaceful" change of power in Montenegro. Also, it will strengthen influence on the Government of Serbia to recognize the independence of Kosovo. Since its inception, the Republic of Srpska ia thorn in the eye of US. Now, especially since Republika Srpska prevents the entry of Bosnia and Herzegovina into NATO. In Montenegro, the main goal is that with the replace of Djukanovic’s Democratic Party of Socialists, which has been in power for almost 30 years, comes new pro-Western government. The main problem for that will be the strongest opposition coalition Democratic Front. Unfortunately, US had great success lately in the Balkans. Washington brought Montenegro to NATO, appointed Zoran Zaev as Macedonia's prime minister, Aleksandar Vucic became president of Serbia, and has already outlined the plan for issuing Kosovo ,while Republika Srpska is in a difficult economic situation.
Russia does not respond adequately to US offensive. There is no patriotic or pro-Russian television with national frequency in Serbia or in Montenegro.
Over the only opposition pro-Serbian and pro-Russian newspapers in Montenegro, which were also the most readed, the US embassy put a paw. In Serbia there is not even a pro-Russian party with a serious plan to make Serbia a powerful state again. Which, like former Yugoslavia, would pull the region forward in suppressed the influence of globalists. The current situation requires the action of Russia and China, which should put knowledge to US that Balkan is not its backyard.
