Ukraine at the Brink to NATO-backed Civil War as West Demands Transitional Government

21.02.2014
Government allows Police to Shoot Back at Armed “Protesters” – Core NATO Members France, Germany and Poland suggest “Transitional Government”The Death toll in the Ukrainian capital has risen to 67, hundreds, including 500 police officers, have been injured by gunshot wounds. After protesters armed with assault rifles and handguns opened fire at both co-protesters, journalists and unarmed police, killing 26, Tuesday night, the Interior Ministry has authorized the use of firearms against armed radicals in Kiev’s burning Maidan Square. The situation in Kiev reflects the modus operandi that has been observed in Yugoslavia, Libya, Syria and Egypt. The foreign ministers of France, Germany and Poland are in Kiev, calling for the immediate establishment of a “transitional government”.

Interior Ministry authorized use of Firearms by Police – 67 Police Officers feared taken Hostage by armed Rioters.

Today, the Interior Minister of the Ukraine,Vitaly Zakharchenko, authorized security forces to use firearms in mass riots. The decision came after three more police officers had been killed, bringing the death toll among police up to thirteen, and after more than hundred additional police officers had been injured by gunfire. Zakharchenko issued a statement, saying:

“As part of the work of the anti-terrorist center of the Security Service of the Ukraine, I have signed the respective orders – the law enforcers have been handed combat weapons, which will be used in accordance with the law of  the Ukraine”.

After the announcement, Zakharchenko addressed the armed rioters and opposition leaders, demanded that the arms are laid down immediately and that opposition leaders dissociate themselves from the use of firearms. Stressing that this statement was published on the ministry’s website, for everyone to read, Zakharchenko said:

“The Interior Ministry demands that the extremists voluntarily lay down their weapons and return to peaceful protesting. The leaders and representatives of the opposition, who are able to make a sober estimate of the situation, must disassociate themselves from the radicals and must not support them any further”.

Up until today, the Ukrainian police had, despite the fact that armed rioters killed scores and injured hundreds, not been authorized to use firearms. The Interior Minister stressed that Ukrainian law authorizes the use of firearms by police;

“To protect citizens from attacks which are posing a danger to their life and health, to rescue hostages, to counter life-threatening attacks on police officers and members of their families, as well as to thwart attacks on homes, government buildings or specially protected sites”.

Police Officers Held Hostage. The Interior Ministry stressed that police also are authorized to use firearms to free seized government buildings and kidnapped law enforcement officers and added, that Rioters have seized 67 police officers who are being held hostage. The statement stipulates that;

“During extremist attacks on law enforcers, 67 troopers were captured. So far, nothing is known regarding the state of their health and their fate”.

While the Ministry and police maintain that the shooting on Tuesday was committed by Rioters, some media quote Rioters as stating that 70 protesters had been killed by gunshot wounds Tuesday night. Although there are images of slain protesters, the information is inconsistent with forensic reports which state that those who were killed had been injured by munitions that were not used by law enforcement. Moreover, the government maintains that it is only today, Thursday 20 February, that police has been authorized to use firearms.

Modus Operandi the same as in Yugoslavia, Libya, Syria and Egypt. A brief Review of Historical Precedence. The Rioters claims about the police use of firearms, killing “protesters” is practically identical with the NATO backed subversions in Yugoslavia, Libya, Syria and Egypt.

Yugoslavia War planned since Mid-70s.  The retired French Brig. General Pierre Marie Gallois admitted in a video-recorded interview, that the subversion and war against Yugoslavia had been planned by German, French, British and other NATO member’s top-politicians and military brass in meetings near the German city of Munich, since the mid-70s.

Libya War – US Special Forces in Libya before first “protests”. The war on Libya and the ousting of the Gadhafi government had been planned years in advance, as documented in several articles in the book, edited by former US Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney, titled “The Illegal War on Libya”.

The reason for the war on Libya was, among others, the implementation of the Mediterranean Basin Alliance, opposed by the Gadhafi government, the need to subvert Libya as staging ground for the wars on Mali and Syria, and preventing the establishment of a Pan-African, gold-backed currency, which would have ended absolute French control over the African UMEOA member states national economies. A US Special Forces officer reported in 2011, that US special forces had been on the ground in Libya and Syria for months, prior to the invasion.

Syria – Former French Foreign Minister admits, War was Planned Years in Advance. In 2013, the former French Foreign Minister, Roland Dumas, admitted that the war on Syria with the help of “rebels” had been planned years in advance.  In a TV interview with the French TV channel LPC, Dumas said:

“I am going to tell you something. I was in England two years before the violence in Syria on other business. I met with top British officials, who confessed to me, that they were preparing something in Syria”.

“This was in Britain not in America. Britain was organizing an invasion of rebels into Syria. They even asked me, although I was no longer Minister of Foreign Affairs, if I would like to participate. Naturally, I refused, I said I am French, that does not interest me”

“This operation goes way back. It was prepared, preconceived and planned… in the region it is important to know that this Syrian regime has a very anti-Israeli stance”.

“Consequently, everything that moves in the region…- and I have this from a former Israeli Prime Minister who told me ?we will try to get on with our neighbors but those who don?t agree with us will be destroyed. It is a type of politics, a view of history, why not after all. But one should  know about it”.

Egypt – Muslim Brotherhood Gunmen and Foreign Insurgents fire at Protesters, Blaming Government. In 2013, supporters of the ousted Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi, along with Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood, held two squares in central Cairo occupied for weeks, causing the city to descend into a transport and logistical chaos.

Radical Muslim Brothers, supported by “foreign fighters” backed by Qatar, attempted to create sectarian violence in the Sinai and in Cairo. When police moved in to the occupied squares, conservatively, Muslim Brotherhood snipers opened fire at those of their own protesters who wanted to follow police orders and leave.

nuland_USAThe murders created a panic, causing hundreds to flee back to the squares, where armed radicals opened fire at them from behind sand sack barricades. Video images of the slain protesters were sent to the Qatar-owned Al-Jazeera and broadcast by Al-Jazeera, CNN, BBC and other pro-Western TV channels, claiming that “police had killed hundreds of unarmed protesters”.

NATO’s modus operandi and fingerprint, is unmistakable, and was the same everywhere, from Yugoslavia to Libya, Mali, Syria and the Ukraine. Not surprisingly, evidence was found that strongly supports that the US State Department backed NGO CANVAS, formerly known as DEMOZ is involved in the attempted subversion of the Ukraine.

The published telephone chat between US State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland and US Ambassador to the Ukraine Geoffrey Pratt leaves no doubt that core NATO members are aiming for “regime change” and a transitional government” in the Ukraine.

One more Common Denominator – The Demand for “Regime Change”. The final part of the puzzle that turns the “Gestalt” of a NATO subversion into a clear picture, that leaves no more room for doubt, is the immediate demand for “regime change”, claims that the government has “lost legitimacy” and will be held “fully responsible for everything”, followed by suggestions about a “transitional government”.

The United States Ambassador to the Ukraine, Geoffrey R. Pratt, said on Tuesday, that the USA holds Ukrainian President VictorYanokovich responsible for the escalation of the crisis in the country. That ambassador’s statement came before the “protesters” began using firearms on Tuesday night.

On Wednesday, US State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland was quoted by the Zerkalo Nedeli newspaper as saying:

“From this moment on, the USA holds Yanukovich responsible for everything that happens in the Ukraine”.

On Thursday, the Foreign Ministers of France, Germany and Poland, who currently are in the Ukrainian capital Kiev, suggested that a “transitional government” be established and that “early presidential elections be held” as part of a “peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian crisis”.

Risk of Direct Confrontation between Two Nuclear Armed Blocks. The gravity of NATO’s attempted subversion of the Ukraine with armed militants cannot be overestimated.

While the subversions in Yugoslavia, Libya, Syria and Mali did not risk a direct standoff between NATO and CSTO member state’s armed forces, the situation in the Ukraine has the potential of developing into a major crisis with global implications.

Moreover, the current situation in the Ukraine is inseparably tied to those factors which convinced major players behind the center of gravity within NATO to launch the war on Syria. The failure of diplomacy and the renewed push by core NATO members and allies for a military solution in Syria potentiate the situation in the Ukraine, making it more dangerous and volatile than one is led to believe by Western media coverage.

If any “crisis” the world has witnessed over the last decade has the potential to develop into a Sarajevo moment, where the developments on the ground begin to determine the decisions of policy makers, rather than the other way around, the situation in the Ukraine is “it”. For those who don’t know what a Sarajevo moment is, it was in Sarajevo, that the spark that ignited World War I, was set off with the assassination of Arch Duke Franz Ferdinand.
