Pakistan - A Paradise for Tourists

God has made this entire biosphere astonishingly remarkable. It is the man who has the obligation to explore the delightfully created scenic beauties of the world. If you are a travelling enthusiast, and you have not visited Pakistan – an epitome and blend of all natural allures and unique cultural heritage, then you have not explored an enormous percentage of exquisiteness which contributes to add more charisma in this Universe.

 

The tourism industry of the country was adversely effected for a few years since it was dynamically fighting against the obscenity of terrorism but now the country is on its ways to reassure tourism once again and it is safe for travelling. Now a days news like these are frequently found in the newspapers of different countries: “The country has now been officially termed ‘safe for travel’ by the Portuguese government and British Airways also resumed operation in the region after more than 10 years”.

 

 

It is a one of the serenest, economic and wonderful lands to visit for a tourist. The landscape of Pakistan is categorically diverse. It ranges from lofty highlands in the north, the Karakorum and the Himalayas through alienated plateaus to rich alluvial savannahs of Punjab. Then follows the bareness of Baluchistan and the hot parched deserts of Sindh blending into miles and miles of beaches on the Makran Coast. It has one of the richest fertile land, marvelous valleys, remains of primitive and ancient civilizations, fascinating cultures, captivating ports, World’s Highest Himalayan peaks, peaceful Arabian Sea beaches and everything which is beyond one’s wildest imaginations.

 

In Pakistan's north, different mountain ranges are there which includes the Siwalik, Himalayan, Karakoram and Hindukush ranges. Nanga Parbat situated in Kashmir and Godwin Austin – World’s second highest Peak, also known as the Savage Mountain which lies in Karakoram Range near Gilgit, are 26,660 and 28,251 feet high respectively – too difficult to surmount but conquering them rewards you with the heaven like views. 

 

1300 km long Karakoram highway, which extends from Pakistan to China is considered as the 8th wonder of the world because it is so beautiful, mesmerizing and has breathtaking views around it which draw adventurers and mountaineers from around the world. It also has many old fortresses, ancient architecture, Hunza, Kaghan and Chitral Valley – home to an antique and beautiful culture of Kalash people, also the Fairy Meadows and Diamer District of Gilgit Baltistan. 

 

The country's attractions in the province of Sindh includes Mohenjo-daro and Harappa - “the mound of dead” - which were expertly planned ancient cities and now they are an embodiment of history. The second largest fresh water lake in Pakistan, Keenjhar Lake is hypnotic to see. Located in Tharparkar, Faiz Mahal is also an architectural masterwork. The details on the walls of the palace are intricately done, hinting at the mastery of the workers back in the day. Situated east of Karachi near the National Highway, the Chaukhandi Tombs are essentially an Islamic cemetery full of stunningly carved stonework.

 

The magnificence of the historic Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province is enduring and legendary and has its own tradition, culture and rituals. It is also blessed with SWAT which is called Mini Switzerland because of its breathtaking sceneries and splendid snow cover throughout the year. Punjab province has the historic city Lahore with many examples of Mughal architecture such as Badshahi Masjid, Shalimar Gardens, Tomb of Jahangir and the Lahore Fort. Capital of Pakistan is also spectacular and it is ranked as the second most beautiful capital of the world, it has the finest landscapes and spots surrounded by Margilla hills.

Balochistan includes destinations which are of great tourist attractions. This includes, The Hannah Lake which looks frozen, ice-covered and astounding in winters. Waadi-e-Bolan, which is a long stretch of a mountain gorge with blue waters. Hingol National Park have rare and exotic animals including the Markhor and several others of the deer family, enclosed by shallow blue waters. The Kund Malir Beach is one of the most dazzling beaches. Astola Island, also known as Jezira Haft Talar Satadip or ‘Island of the Seven Hills’, is a small uninhabited Pakistani island in the Arabian Sea. 

 

 

Tourism plays an imperative role in the economy and it is a chief source of revenue for most countries around the world. Since Pakistan is moving towards a self-sustaining economy and a more peaceful impact on the region of south Asia, tourism would play a vital role in generating revenue which would be utilized in the welfare of country.
