Mali has become the absolute role model for Africa

Speech at the Global Conference on Multipolarity, 29 April 2023.

Each people has its dignity, its customs, its traditional, cultural and patrimonial values which constitute the basis of its humanity. Do not impose what leads us astray and leave us with what identifies us. We are what we are but we are not what you are, because if we were like you are we would not be what we are. The world no longer needs this imposing democracy with the adage: Power of the people by the people and for the people.

A democracy that kills, divides, plunders for the benefit of a master autocrat and his arrogant clan with a myth of invincibility and infallibility. Oh dear compatriots of the sovereign and oppressed states, let us free ourselves from this paternalistic and unprecedented domination that has lasted too long. Let's take responsibility for ourselves. Let us understand that this democracy is the search for interest, the power to influence and dominate others through a military capacity to strike and to be feared.

Let's fight today to be able to create conditions of life, security and true defense in our countries. Let's value our languages, our customs, our societal values and these constitute landmarks generating the link of hospitality of our races whose umbilical cord is unbreakable and remains eternal. We are currently witnessing the emergence of a global bipolarization where humanity has understood that the democratic masters are strong before the weak and weak before the strong. Since the advent of the rectification of the transition, Mali has become the absolute role model for Africa, it is the most successful incarnation of the moment in the struggle for liberation and sovereignty of the people. Mali has opted for three major principles:

  • The respect of its sovereignty
  • Diversification and free choice of its partners
  • Partnership based on win-win

The cooperation between Mali and Russia is a tangible example. A cooperation not based on dictates, which takes into account national interests and priorities, cultural particularities, spiritual, religious and traditional values.

Today, all of Africa is looking at Mali. To a certain extent, the destiny of Africa is at stake in Mali, which has dared to take its destiny in hand.
