Drug Smuggling from Germany and Italy by the Terrorist Group of MEK. Part 3

In the two previous articles, we said that the terrorist group of the MEK, which was on the list of terrorist organizations of the United States and the European Union from 1997 to 2012 due to the killing of 17 thousands of innocent people, after leaving this list and with extensive negotiations of the United States with Albania, finally entered this country in 2016. This terrorist group, which has a record of more than 40 years of killing and torturing innocent people, has now lost its operational capacity and is passing its old age.

According to the statistics that were taken from these people when they entered Albania, it shows that more than 70% of the members of this terrorist cult are between 70 and 80 years old, and to provide medicine and medical equipment for these people, the MEK has tried to smuggle drugs from Germany and Italy, two supply centers were also mentioned in the previous article in this regard.

In this article, we will have a look at the status of the medical files of the members of MEK after the Forough Javidan operation, as well as the persons whose names appear in the field research as suppliers of medicines and equipment smuggled to the camp Ashraf in Albania.

According to the research carried out around the Ashraf Camp and Camp Liberty in Iraq, which were under the control of the US coalition forces after the fall of Saddam Hussein, and also the questioning of the American soldiers who were involved in the siege and control of the camp, some cases were obtained that give a better view in this regard, It gives us information about the physical condition of the members of this group. In Camp Liberty, which was under the siege and control of the American forces, there were reports of repeated requests by the members of the MEK to end the siege of Camp Liberty so that the leaders of the MEK could provide special medicines for their people who were injured and disabled in the Forough Javidan operation and have free access to Iraqi hospitals.

After the end of the siege of Camp Liberty and allowing the MEK members access to medical equipment, medicine, and hospitals in Iraq, according to the official statistics of the Iraqi government and the American forces, it was found that in 2013, an amount of 2 million and 168 thousand dollars was spent on medical treatment of patients which includes medicine, basic medical and dental materials, performing surgeries in Baghdad hospitals, this number in 2014 includes an amount equal to 2 million and 585 thousand dollars. In other words, for the two years of 2013 and 2014, the terrorist group of the MEK has spent 4 million and 754 thousand dollars for their medical issues, and the question arises, how this group has not spent even one dollar since entering Albania until now on medical procedures? According to the information obtained from the Iraqi government, 907 people from the terrorist group of the MEK were on the waiting list for urgent and necessary treatments and surgical services when they were in Camp Liberty, of whom 245 were women and 662 were men. How can it be possible that with these background cases, the members of MEK have not been hospitalized even once in Albanian hospitals?

As can be seen today, Albania is considered as an important country for the MEK for their political goals and plans, and until a while ago, they turned this country into a place for their political and terrorist campaigns against the Islamic Republic of Iran. After the police raid on the camp of MEK (June 20, 2023), this group is no longer able to continue its political and terrorist activities as before, and for this reason, in the new decision, they have decided to move the headquarters to Toronto, Canada, and 109 members of the central staff have been sent to Canada, of course, in the way of transfer, it seems that the leaders of the group do not intend to transfer the regular members and have sent only the central staff and the valuable members to Canada.

Because of the transfer of the group to Canada, according to the information obtained from the field research next to the camp, it shows that after the attack of the Albanian anti-terrorist police on the camp and the decision to transfer the headquarters of the group to Canada, there were many dissatisfactions in the group that a large number of members wanted to leave the camp, and for this purpose, the leaders of the group started to use the strategy of internal or organizational purification to silence the protests, in such a way that they separate the member from the group and subject that member to brainwashing, and if this does not work, those members would be executed and physically removed by the leaders of MEK. According to the reports received from the official website of the Mujahedin-e Khalq and the members who have recently separated from this camp, 28 members of this terrorist group have been killed in the last 2 months with the strategy of “Organizational Purification”, and the leaders of this cult in all the cases have declared that they had serious illnesses. This is despite the fact that, according to the investigations of the hospitals around the camp and the government of Albania, the leaders of the group did not allow the hospital and Albanian government to do an autopsy and even didn’t allow the doctors to check the bodies to issue the death certificate, and the reason for this was given by MEK leaders as the Iranian tradition. This is not a correct issue and the leaders of the MEK falsely use this tactic so that the reason for the death of members stays hidden because if the assassination of members by the leaders of the group gets revealed, the group will no longer have the ability to control the disaffected members. Not long ago, the European Parliament, in one of its resolutions under the number P9_TA(2023)0292, accused this group of torturing and intimidating its members and Iranian diaspora and spoke of the MEK's forging the signatures of parliamentarians in letters that those representatives did not know anything about.

Away from the commotion and chaos inside the camp, as it was said in the previous article, some figures in Italy and Germany have provided medicines and medical equipment to the MEK and smuggled these items into MEK’s camp in Albania. First, we go to Italy and take a look at the network of doctors and nurses who are in charge of providing medicine and medical equipment for this cult in Italy:

Dr. Nasser Gholi Ardalani is the son of Iraj, born on 1960/06/13 from Hamadan (one of Iran's provinces). He has been in charge of the community of specialists and graduates living in Italy for some time. His wife Gita Ahrabian is one of the fugitive members of the group and is located in Rome, Italy, and is the owner of one of the reputable pharmacies in this city. She is the son of Tawfiq and Faride, born on 1960/10/05 in Tabriz (one of Iran’s cities). Mr. Ardalani with the nickname Nariman and his wife Gita Ahrabian with the cooperation of Seyed Mehdi Mirarabshahi are the financial elements of the MEK, some of the items and medical equipment needed such as masks, ethanol, Gelofen tablets, several oximeter devices, 3 ventilators, gowns and special sheets for Infectious patients etc... were prepared and sent by special courier to Albania by these figures.

During the outbreak of the coronavirus, while many European countries and even Italy were facing a severe shortage of masks, Dr. Ardalani actively sought to supply and send special fabrics for masks, and because sending these items was normally prohibited by the government, these people sent these items illegally by special smugglers who are called “couriers”, to Camp Ashraf in Albania. Seyyed Mehdi Mirarabshahi, known as Mehdi Florence, was one of the financial and support elements of the terrorist group of the MEK, who specialized in the provision of items and necessities of the MEK, especially the medical sector, and he came to Italy from America a while ago and is based in the city of Florence.

He was born on 1952/05/07 in Tehran, Mehdi Arabshahi illegally left Iran for Pakistan in the 1980s, and then, due to his expertise in human trafficking, he smuggled some members of the group to European countries without identity documents, and he has sheltered the senior members of the MEK in his house many times. Field research around his house has shown the significant amounts of electrical and mechanical medical equipment, as well as medical aid items such as crutches, wheelchairs, etc., are stored in his house, which are smuggled to Camp Ashraf 3 after being fully supplied. According to the information obtained from Albania, he is constantly traveling to Albania and doing support works for the MEK.

Dr. Mahmoud Hakamian, born in 1959, went to Italy in 1979 to study dentistry, and after some time, he was recruited by the terrorist group of the MEK and was transferred to Rome. Together with Esmail Mohaddis (Mahmoud Hakamian's successor in propaganda and organizing demonstrations and meetings and who is related to the Rome Municipality in Italy) and a woman named Makarram (Bibi Ishrat Mirnejad Anbarani) in Italy, he rented a house for the group's activities. He rented it in Rome for 3000 Euros and cooperates with people named Youssef (Rome Press Correspondent) and Behzad, who is in charge of advertising activities and conducting demonstrations and meetings, in the supply network of the MEK’s pharmaceutical items.

The office of the terrorist group of the MEK in Rome, as a center for storing goods and technical and medical equipment and planning smuggling shipments to Albania, is at Via delle Egadi 13A 00141 Rome Lazio, and all the above people have visited this place many times. This office supplies medicines and medical equipment that the people in this camp need to survive and brings them into the camp under the guise of charity and humanitarian measures under the orders of the head of Ashraf 3 headquarter in Albania.

Now that we are familiar with the people and the network of the MEK in Italy, it is time to take a look at the team of these people who transmit the necessary medical orders to Italy and Germany. According to information and field investigations from Albania, it was found that 3 doctors are stationed in the camp of the MEK and one of them is Dr. Abbas Shakri who sends drug orders to the drug supply network in Italy and Germany. The rest are Dr. Alfred, and Dr. Adelina who cooperating with Dr. Fazel (Abbas Shakri). In 1986, Abbas Shakri, who was working at Tajrish Martyrs' Hospital in Iran and then fled from Iran, has expertise in urology and was undergoing a specialization course in cosmetology, who is working under the nickname of Dr. Shahed in the headquarter of MEK.

According to the investigations and interviews with those who separated from the camp, it was found that the common diseases in the camp, apart from disability in military operations, include cancer, blood pressure, eye diseases, and neurological diseases such as depression, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease, hernia, brain and heart strokes, diabetes, heart diseases requiring surgery, asthma and shortness of breath, and liver diseases and hepatitis.

In this regard, from the information obtained from the recently separated members, a list was prepared that shows the medical problems of some of these people so that the information provided can be verified even by the terrorist group of the MEK, for example, Elham Fardipour is suffering from cancer, Malihe Amini is suffering from MS, Huri Seyedi is suffering from MS, Sarwar Faqhhi is suffering from a brain tumor, Taghi Abbasian is suffering from high blood pressure, Reza Jalali is suffering from high blood pressure, Khosro Rezaei is suffering from heart disease, Fateme Noorani is suffering from a stroke, Abdallah Mahmoudi and Poran Chavoshi have a disability.

These are only a small part of the list of sick people in this terrorist group and these people are always taking medicine and need special medical equipment because of the disability they found in Forough Javidan and Morwarid operations, and the equipment and drugs were smuggled into Albania and this volume of goods is imported into the camp without paying even a single dollar to the Albanian government, the money that could have been spent on the people and industry of Albania and improve the economy of this country. Isn't it time for the Albanian government and Edi Rama to take a closer look at the activities of this terrorist group, and prevent the illegal activities of this cult?
