Appeal to a President

12.09.2024

The Russian intervention in Ukraine was the result of a trap set by the West to force the Kremlin into choices that in Western plans should have led to Russia's defeat and ultimate submission. But reality often differs from our expectations and Russia has instead shown uncommon and heroic resistance.

At the start of the Special Military Operation, the big boys of the West (sic) and their pimps rubbed their hands in anticipation of a victory that was already improbable at the time and now seems increasingly unlikely. Others, on the other hand, have stood up and continue to do so, loudly denouncing the dangers of the crisis before our eyes and the existential threat that has pushed Russia into action.

Italy too has followed the NATO hysteria and elected as a universal hero the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelens'kyj, the former comedian who played the piano with his penis and who seems to have a marked preference for cocaine. Indeed, our country continues to supply arms and money to a foreign and corrupt government, the Ukrainian one, which is acting against the interests of its own people and literally sending its soldiers to the slaughter in absurd and poorly planned operations such as the attack on Russian territory in Kursk.

Either Rome, like Kiev and the rest of the West, persists in believing in a parallel and self-referential reality that does not correspond to the real world, or our country is forcibly moving along tracks decided from outside Italy, unable to redeem itself from psychic and spiritual submission to Washington.

During the Covid, required to achive the current international situation, most Italians behaved like a flock of tame sheep, ready to obey the most absurd orders because they were stunned by fear. In the aftermath of the start of the Special Military Operation, the same flock behaviour remained, apart from a few exceptions: different Italians, one might say.

And among these few, the different Italian Ornella Mariani, who had already addressed President Putin in one of her videos at the start of the SMO reminding him how government and people are two different things, returns to address the Russian president to remind him of the need to distinguish between governments and peoples poisoned by propaganda:

“...I really beg you, keep Italy in your heart... I respectfully insist: we are afraid of a conflict that is not ours and we would have liked a morally qualified establishment to administer it by flanking History, ethics and the ground of solidarity...”

are some of the words Mrs. Mariani addresses to Vladimir Putin today, even with traits of candour and rectitude that are often unusual when dealing with relations between nations.

I spoke with Ornella Mariani and offer readers a short interview with her.

1) Ms Mariani, thank you for your time. I would like to ask you What prompted you to go public with all your initiatives, your videos, your lectures, which have even attracted the attention of the Italian judiciary?

A) I was motivated by the horrors we have suffered at the hands of a corrupt and discredited political class. I therefore decided to expose myself against a terrible experiment in social engineering to protect, above all, the future of our children harassed and tried by the aberrant public health initiatives, against which no Magistrate has opened due enquiries.

2) Could you summarise for our readers the current Italian position on Russia? Is it different from the past?

A) The government provides money and deadly weapons to Ukraine and against Russia, which was a friendly country. The conflict with Ukraine, which in any case does not concern the Eurozone, was of no interest to us and, moreover, was years old... To have taken part in it was and is instrumentally functional to the servility and interests of NATO and the Anglosphere. We had solid ties and historical debts with Russia. I am reassured that popular feeling towards that reality does not coincide with political and institutional feeling.

3) Don't you think that the anticipation of the upcoming US elections in November heavily conditions our government and determines its present behaviour?

A) I am convinced that the US elections will have a huge impact on the current situation, but there remain well-founded apprehensions about their outcome. I believe that Putin is conducting a war of attrition in anticipation of events, but I do not rule out a dangerous and irreversible escalation. I also believe that the foolish actions of the Italian government, unable to disengage itself from EU prescriptions and from what general Eisenhower called “a dirty deal” concluded at Cassibile [1], will produce an epochal drift in our country.

4) Do you fear for the future of our country and us Italians?

A) Of course, I have fears for the future of our country and our people: a conflict involving Europe would engage Italian territory on which some 120 American bases insist.

5) In your opinion, what should be the courageous choices to be made?

A) The courageous choice is to “denounce” and desegregate the State/Mafia agreement agreed at Cassibile and the subsequent treaties, abandoning the policies of NATO and the United States that wage wars by proxy and claim to export democracy, but in fact prevaricate and stifle the will of the Peoples.

[1] The armistice of Cassibile, 3 September 1943, marked Italy's unconditional surrender to the allied forces. General Eisenhower called the agreement “the dirtiest deal” he had ever made because of the secret clauses that sanctioned Italian subjugation for decades to come.
