The historic turning-point that started the climb-down from 25 July 1945 occurred on 9 October 2024, by means of an event that was buried in the news (almost as deeply hidden as 25 July 1945 had been), even in the few places where it was reported at all, when Reuters headlined (skillfully playing-down and hiding its shatteringly historic importance) “Zelenskiy awaits new summit date after Biden postpones Germany trip”.
When the European Union as a political institution was established on 1 November 1993 with the Maastricht Treaty, following the already established European Common Market, the intention to make it a political prosthesis of the will of the United Kingdom and the United States of America was unequivocal. In fact, the respective political and military leaders participated in the foundation, in particular the then leaders of NATO, a military entity that was the necessary precondition for the ‘New World’ to control the ‘Old World’.
The Russian intervention in Ukraine was the result of a trap set by the West to force the Kremlin into choices that in Western plans should have led to Russia's defeat and ultimate submission. But reality often differs from our expectations and Russia has instead shown uncommon and heroic resistance. At the start of the Special Military Operation, the big boys of the West (sic) and their pimps rubbed their hands in anticipation of a victory that was already improbable at the time and now seems increasingly unlikely.
