Bolivia: construction of a new railway

The Union of South American Nations (USAN) is going to work on drafting a new construction of railway connecting the Western and Eastern coast of the Continent. The relevant agreement was reached during the talks between Ernesto Samper, the Secretary General of the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR) and  President of Bolivia Evo Morales.

This railway, whose construction will be financed by China, is designed not only to link the Pacific and Atlantic oceans, but also to unite the whole continent, according to Ernesto Samper.
