Eurasian Bank: Eurasian Development Bank Conference starts in Moscow

The 11th International Eurasian Integration Conference, organized by the Eurasian Development Bank, has begun in Moscow today, November 11th.

Finding its way

The main task of this year’s conference is finding ways to develop Eurasian integration. The participants are planning to exchange views on the strategic directions of cooperation in key sectors such as the economy and issues of monetary integration. Considerable attention is also going to be paid to the theme of strengthening interstate cooperation within the EAEU. The program of the conference also includes discussing the problems and prospects of the activities of international development banks in the region.

The right bank

The Eurasian Development Bank is an international financial institution established by Moscow and Astana in January 2006 to promote the development of the market economy of member states, their sustainable economic growth, and the expansion of mutual trade and economic relations. The authorized capital of the bank is $7 billion. The bank's member states are Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the Russian Federation, and the Republic of Tajikistan.
