Syrian forces advance in northern Hama

The Syrian Arab Army’s 47th Regiment of the 11th Tank Division, backed by the National Defense Forces (NDF), launched a counter-attack in the northern Hama countryside on Tuesday, targeting the jihadist-controlled villages of Ma’ardes and Taybat Al-Imam.

According to a military source in the Hama Governorate, the Syrian Armed Forces managed to clear much of the Kawkab area, while also advancing on Ma’ardes village from the southeastern flank.
