Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine carried out raids against companies that, according to the agency, provide illegal broadcasting of Russian TV channels banned in Ukraine.

"In particular, the investigation revealed that the company 'New television technologies, LLC', and 'Advertising Television Group' used equipment in Ukraine (satellite receivers, etc.), programmed for accepting a series of promotional channels of the aggressor state, including 'Russia 24', 'NTV-Mir', and others", says the press service of the Ukrainian ministry.

They also said they partially confiscated property in the course of their investigation.

"During the authorized searches, from the office and other premises, uncertified equipment that is illegal in Ukraine was  seized, which had been smuggled in from Russia, documents and other media that have evidentiary value in this criminal proceeding", it was noted in the SBU report.
