Turkey can provide the Incirlik military base for the Russian Air Force

Turkey can provide the Incirlik base for use of the Russian air forces in the Russian anti-terrorist operation in Syria.

This was stated by a member of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs Igor Morozov.

The head of the Defense Committee of the Federation Council and Security Viktor Ozerov also does not exclude that Turkey can take such a decision after talks that occured last week in St. Petersburg between Vladimir Putin and Tayyip Erdogan, during which the Turkish leader expressed Turkey's willingness to support Russia in the fight against the terrorists in Syria.
