Syrian forces destroy more than 17 vehicles and a command center for terrorists
The Syrian army units, backed by the Air Force, continued on Thursday targeting gatherings and vehicles of ISIS and other terrorist organizations across the country, inflicting heavy losses upon them in personnel and equipment.
In Deir Ezzor:
13 vehicles for ISIS terrorists were destroyed in army airstrikes in al-Huweiqa, al-Hamidiyeh and in the vicinity of al-Tharda Mountain in the eastern Deir Ezzor province.
In Homs:
The Air Force of the Syrian Army destroyed on Thursday three positions of ISIS terrorists in a series of air strikes that hit sites to the south of Palmyra and in the surroundings of the third station for oil pumping to the east of Palmyra in Homs countryside, according to a military source.
Several gatherings of terrorists and a number of vehicles, some of which equipped with machineguns, were hit in air strikes targeting the terrorists’ fortifications to the east of Hweisis area and in Jbab Hamad village in al-Furuqlos area to the east of Homs city.
In Sweida:
In the neighboring Sweida province, an army unit targeted a convoy of vehicles for ISIS terrorist organization on the road linking Abu Sharshouh border crossing point near the Iraqi borders with Bir al-Rseiey area in the eastern countryside of the southern Sweida province.
The army’s operations resulted in destroying two vehicles with weapons and terrorists on board.
In Daraa:
Army units carried out military operations against Jabhat al-Nusra positions in the southern Daraa province, killing many terrorists and destroying a command center for them southeast of Bosra Square in Daraa city.
Two vehicles were destroyed on al-Sad road and gatherings of terrorists were hit in al-Naziheen Camp in the city.
An army unit killed members of a Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist group that attacked military posts in al-Bajabja neighborhood in Daraa al-Balad area in the city.
