Syria and Russia Conduct more than 100 Airstrikes

The Russian and Syrian air forces resumed their aerial campaign over the Aleppo Governorate on Monday night, targeting several sites under the control of Jaysh Al-Fateh and Fatah Halab.

According to a military source, the Syrian and Russian air forces launched most of their airstrikes over the southern countryside of Aleppo, hitting several Jaysh Al-Fateh targets inside the villages of Khan Touman, Khalsah, Tal Al-‘Eis and Qarassi.

These airstrikes in southern Aleppo succored the Syrian Arab Army soldiers against Jaysh Al-Fateh, allowing them to drive the jihadist rebels back after a short battle.

In addition to the airstrikes over southern Aleppo, the Syrian and Russian air forces targeted the provincial capital’s northern districts, including Dahret ‘Abd Rabo, Al-Layramoun, and Bustan Al-Basha.

According to a field source in the provincial capital, the Syrian and Russian air forces conducted 100+ airstrikes over Aleppo tonight.
