Summary of anti-terrorist operations of the Syrian army for the 6th of October

The Syrian army in Aleppo has taken control of several buildings in the neighborhood of Bustan al-Basha.

The fight against the terrorist groups in the area continues.

The Syrian army together with allies held a fast and surprise-attack counter-terrorist operation against terrorist groups in the fortified quarter of Bustan al-Basha.

During the operation, the military took control of the complex of the Institute of Physical Education buildings, dormitories and the school complex.

During the operation a lot of terrorists were liquidated and wounded and the rest, left their positions, fled deep into the quarters, where terrorist groups hold civilian hostages and use them as a "human shield".

On yesterday's eve the Command of the armed forces of Syria announced the reduction of impacts on the positions of the terrorists in the eastern neighborhoods of the city to improve the humanitarian situation in Aleppo and thus to aid the citizens wishing to leave the eastern regions.
