State of emergency extended in Tunisia

The President of Tunisia decided to extend the state of emergency, which operates in the country for 10 months. It will be extended for another month.

It is reported that during the last week, which is considered a holiday for Muslims, the country has encountered  with a lot of terrorist activity from Libya. In addition, the Algerian security forces have warned of  terrorist's plans to extend their network. It is said that they recruit Tunisian nationals crossing the border from Libya.

Security in Tunisia decreased significantly after the war in Libya, where Muammar Gaddafi supporting the Tunisian government was ousted pro-American terrorist groups. But the situation is even more complicated after the color revolutions in the past year. That's when a state of emergency has been introduced, including in connection with the terrorist threat.
