Putin sends cable of condolences to Iraqi Prime Minister with regard to the terrorist attack that hit Baghdad

Press spokesman for Russian President Dmitri Peskov, announced on Monday that Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a letter of condolences to Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, with regard to the terrorist attack in Baghdad, which killed more than 150 people.

Peskov add: "Russia behave consistent approach in the fight against terrorism, and solidarity with the people that are exposed to such fierce attacks by terrorists."

Abadi issued orders to the security services, yesterday, to stop using false devices to detect explosives at security checkpoints after the bombing which was adopted by the "Islamic State" (ISIS).

Police officer said earlier that those devices known as the "magic wand" is still used, despite five years after the sale to Iraq scandal.

James McCormick, British entrepreneur, sold these devices to Iraq and other countries and was sentenced in Britain in 2013 for ten years for endangering people's lives to get some gains.

British police said that McCormick gained more than $ 40 million of sales to Iraq only.

Abadi said  "Interior Ministry has to speed up the monument devices of the type "Rabiskan" to detect vehicles at all entrances of Baghdad and secure the entrances to the provinces."

"ISIS" announced the responsibility for the attack in a statement posted by his supporters on the Internet and said that is a suicide bombing.
