Mogherini: no possibility for European army soon

The head of European diplomacy Federica Mogherini said that the European Union is not going in the near future to form their own armed forces.

"We all agree that the European army is not something that is going to happen any time soon," Mogherini said after an informal meeting of the 28 European Union foreign ministers in Bratislava.

According to her, the EU should develop a commitment to the allied states in advancing in the field of European defense policy.

The establishment of the united army was actively discussed in the EU since over Europe looming problem of terrorism and extremism.
