UK Foreign Minister Boris Johnson has again accused Russia of prolonging the war in Syria and the deteriorating situation in the country, after which, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said on her Facebook that these charges are more appropriate to direct at London, regarding the war in Iraq.

The head of the British Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said in an interview with British TV and Radio BBC , that Russia "is guilty of prolonging the war (in Syria - ed.), And that makes it all the more terrible."

"All fine, but for two words: instead of "Russia" he needs to put the"UK" and instead of "Syria, Iraq", - wrote Zakharova.

Previously, the British government has repeatedly voiced accusations against Moscow of complicating of the situation.
