Macedonia confirms Gruevski’s victory

The preliminary results of re-voting scheduled because of opposition complaints in the Macedonian village of Tearce were announced. But their efforts have failed.

At the same time voting results have confirmed the victory of the ruling Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization – Democratic Party for Macedonian National Unity, led by former Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski. In that case, if the opposition won, seats in parliament would be distributed equally sure. Certainly, this would lead to a new political crisis.
