Chemical weapons, developed under the leadership of former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, now may be in the hands of ISIS This was announced by the Libyan army officer, a military expert Mohammed Maydzhub.

"Terrorists are likely to have access to stocks of mustard gas, because of its large reserves found south of Sirte, which for a long time was under the control of ISIS" - said Mohammed Maydzhub. The use of this gas by terrorists was confirmed by conducted forensic examinations on the fallen soldiers of the Syrian military  who died fighting ISIS terrorists.

The officer added that ISIS could pass the mustard gas reserves to militants of "Boko Haram" in Africa or other groups in the region.

A week ago, a White House spokesman, John Kirby argued at a press briefing that the United States knows about the whereabouts of Gaddafi's chemical weapons, and it is under the strict control of the Washington defense agencies. However, we can not say that Kirby was wrong: he did not say exactly how the White House intends to get rid of mustard gas. It is likely, by transferring it into the hands of their allies in the so-called "moderate opposition" in Syria.
