The Parliament of South Korea officially has launched the impeachment of Park Geun-hye. Within 72 hours the vote is going to be held.

The fact, that the opposition was going to vote tomorrow on December 9 th, was known earlier. Most likely, MPs will vote for the removal of Park Geun-hye of the post. Then the country's Constitutional Court would decide the further political fate of the president. The procedure lasts for several months, during which the country is governed by the Prime Minister.

Prime Minister of South Korea Hwang Kyo-ahn was appointed to the post last year. He previously held the chair of Minister of Justice, in that period Hwang Kyo-ahn developed the law on the national security. Moreover, Hwang Kyo-ahn, Park Geun-hye and Minister of National Defense Han Min-goo were the main initiators of the placement of US missile defense, which largely contributed to the destabilization of South Korea.
