Igor Dodon notes need of 'strategic partnership' with Russia

President Igor Dodon has said he doesn't believe Moldova to be ever part of the European Union. Moreover, the President noted the need “to find common ground with Russia.”

He is going to meet with European Council President Donald Tusk, European Commission President Jean Claude Juncker, and EU foreign-policy chief Federica Mogherini. Moreover, Igor Dodon said that he hopes to cancel his country's 2014 Association Agreement with the EU.

He has also explained such measures: “We will not succeed in uniting the country if we do not build a strategic partnership with Russia.”
