France urges EU to lift sanctions

French President Francois Hollande, speaking to French diplomats said that France, like the rest of Europe, is interested in lifting sanctions against Russia. He said that Europe must normalize relations with Russia as soon as possible.

Recall that a similar view is held by the vast majority of EU countries, however, despite this, the German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that the issue of the lifting of sanctions is too early.
