According to the recently conducted a large-scale public opinion survey, Europeans do not trust the reliability of NATO. Only 4% of the citizens of Germany and 5% of Italians believe that the foreign military bases in their country,  would be better in terms of protection of the state than the national army.

About 30% of the population in both countries are in favor of the joint work of national and foreign armies over the safety of the region, but the majority of Europeans voted for the withdrawal of military bases belonging to other States outside their countries.

Germany and Italy hold the largest number of US military bases in Europe.

In addition, despite the fact that the survey was conducted only in Europe, we can be confident in the fact that Asians have a similar opinion about the US military bases, against which protests are regularly arranged in Japan, South Korea and other countries.
