The Economic cooperation between China and Latin America
The 10th Business Summit China-Latin America has started in China.
The President of the PRC Xi Jinping Congratulatory sent a message to the summit, saying that the meeting would contribute to greater trade and economic cooperation between these countries.
This year the Summit takes place during the discussions concerning the agreement of the Trans-Pacific Partnership, which actively promoted by the United States. While Japan, according to the word of the Prime Minister Shinzō Abe, sees the need to "be the first country to ratify the treaty", in order to provoke the quick flow of ratifications. However, the other countries, in spite of signing the agreement, are in a hurry to ratify it.
Furthermore, discussions are passing not only at the international scene, but also within the signatory countries. Thousands of people are gathering to protest in some Latin American countries.
Thus, the summit could be considered as an action aimed to increase the role of China and, consequently, weakening Washington. Many analysts agree that the Confirmations of Barack Obama’s Cabinet will not be able to actualize this long-awaited project. If the project is started before the election, its fate will remain unsolved for a long time.
