Afghanistan: U.S. Embassy closed

The U.S. Embassy in Afghanistan has closed, which was reported to be a temporary measure aimed at the safety of American citizens in Afghanistan.

This event was following the Taliban attacks on US military base and the German Consulate. Moreover, the attack on the German Consulate has become one of the strongest in recent years.
